DataPro Connect is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Version 8 of our payroll reporting and analysis suite.

This release represents a significant investment in performance, reliability and reporting capability across a number of key modules. Much of the work has focused on modernising core processing routines and improving the user experience when working with larger payroll datasets.

One of the most noticeable improvements is performance. Several core processes have been redesigned using more efficient processing techniques, resulting in substantial reductions in run times for larger payrolls. Many of the core processes now complete 95% faster than before, allowing users to access information more quickly and improve overall productivity.

Version 8 also introduces a number of reporting enhancements, including new payroll analysis tools and expanded exception reporting. These additions are designed to help payroll teams identify anomalies more quickly, improve investigation workflows and provide greater visibility of changes between payroll periods.

Alongside these visible improvements, significant work has taken place behind the scenes to improve compatibility with modern Microsoft Office environments, enhance system resilience and prepare the platform for future developments. Existing functionality has been carefully reviewed and refined to ensure the system continues to meet the demands of increasingly large and complex payroll operations.

Version 8 is currently undergoing final testing and validation prior to release. Further information will be provided to clients as part of the rollout programme.
