Things have changed a lot since then... we now have a national client base and our suite of products continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of our users. Our core product was nationally recognised when it won 'Best Workforce Innovation' at the 2018 HSJ Partnership Awards in London.

What is DataPro Connect?

DataPro Connect (formerly known as ESR Connect) is an award-winning software company which has been designing and supplying solutions for NHS Payroll departments since 2008. We share a firm belief in the values of the NHS and understand the pressures faced by Trusts to make savings in the current climate. Our products help make those savings a reality and this was nationally recognised when our core solution won ‘Best Workforce Innovation’ at the 2018 HSJ Partnership Awards.

What do DataPro Connect provide?

DataPro Connect offer payroll data analysis, interrogation and reporting tools, electronic time & attendance data collection systems, Microsoft 365 based automations using Power Automate and PowerApps, and help with the streamlining and automation of one-off jobs that are taking too much time. Our simple, targeted, and cost-effective tools allow NHS payroll and finance professionals to take control of their expenditure, spot issues before its too late, increase accuracy of payments, and dramatically reduce their transaction checking times.

Who uses DataPro Connect?

Our products are widely used in the NHS; we have a national client base who have in excess of half a million NHS employees on their payrolls covering more than 150 NHS organisations.

Where are DataPro Connect based?

DataPro Connect operate from offices in Padiham Town Hall in Lancashire. The Town Hall was opened in 1938 and is Grade II listed, being strongly in the neo-classical and art-deco styles. Although the town council retain use of part of the building, much of it is now offices. The council chambers are still intact, and there is a large ball room, both of which can be hired out for weddings and other events.

How do I access DataPro Connect Tech Support?

How long will I have to wait for a response from DataPro Connect Tech Support?

DataPro Connect Tech Support offer responses within 4 working hours. In practice, you should be able to expect a response much faster than this. We aim to provide up to the minute support.

My DataPro Connect license is about to expire. How can I renew my contract?

You can contact DataPro Connect Billing by clicking on ‘Email Billing’ from within your DataPro Connect product. If your contract has expired and you can’t access your product, you can get in touch here.

Can I have a demonstration of the DataPro Connect products?

What is the DataPro Connect National Minimum Wage Report?

The DataPro Connect National Minimum Wage Report uses a range of ESR output data to collate basic pay, basic hours, the employees date of birth and a range of user-selectable payments and deductions (including Trust-specific local elements) to quickly calculate which employees have fallen below the National Minimum Wage. The solution calculates the employees age during the pay period in question and then compares their pay with the correct rate, vastly enhancing accuracy, and even provides a warning if an affected employee is due to go from one rate to another mid-period due to a relevant birthday. The system also holds National Minimum Wage rates going back to 2011 so the report can be run retrospectively if Trusts need to calculate back-pay based on the updated guidance.

How much does DataPro Connect cost?

That all depends on which solutions you require, how many employees you want to process, and the contract length. We offer 12, 24 or 36 month contracts and the price is as low as 38p plus VAT per employee on the longest contract. There is also a set up cost which covers installation, training, additional initial support and customisation of the products to your needs. DataPro Connect have a policy that our products and services should always save the NHS more than they cost so you can rely on low, predictable prices and products that pay for themselves time and time again.

What is DataPro Connect Time & Attendance?

DataPro Connect Time & Attendance, sometimes referred to as the Timesheet Module, is a system of electronic timesheets that are populated from ESR data each month and allow managers throughout the Trust to submit time and attendance data for their staff to payroll. The system contains entry parameters to cut down on data entry issues and all input is validated against the NHS conditions of service. Once the timesheet data is received in payroll, the system reports on any issues and anomalies before collating the data and producing attendance and absence files for upload to ESR.
